Making the most of a few days off
We only had a few days off so we decided we would make the most of all the snow that had been falling and head to the mountain. We booked some very cool mount ruapehu accommodation and got the car all packed up and got on the road. It was a bit of a long drive but we made plenty of stops along the way which broke up the trip and made it seem like we weren’t in the car for as long as we actually were. Because we left so early we arrived in town in time to get some brunch but because it was a bit late to get up to the ski field we decided to do a bush walk to fill in the afternoon. We didn’t realise there were such nice walks so close to town so that was a bit of a treat for us.
