Now I design remote data backup software

Since I’ve started my career as a professional mountain climber, people have begun to assume that I have always been the type of person who enjoys “living on the edge”, but this has not always been the case. Indeed, I wasn’t always the swashbuckling adventurer that I am now; my job used to be developing remote data backup software solutions for an IT company in Larkspur! Wow, things sure have changed since then. Whenever I tell my new mountain climbing buddies (we prefer “buddies” to “co-workers”) they are so surprised to hear that I ever held down a boring office job!
