Golf Apparel: Men’s And Women’s Golf Clothes
Golf clothing encompasses many styles and colors, but unlike years past, a golfer is not identified by strange fabrics and garish colors. For men, standard golf clothes on the course includes loose-fitting pleated pants or lengthy shorts, a collared shirt with either long or short sleeves and, on cooler days, a light sweater or vest. Beltless slacks for men are as common these days as persimmon woods. For Womens golf apparel, pleated golf skirts or shorts are standard but no shorter than 19 inches. Sleeveless shirts are acceptable but should have a collar. Golf is a traditional game, and many clubs and courses establish policies for proper attire. Most public courses have less strict guidelines but still expect golfers to dress appropriately.
