Looking smarter

I just came across an article that talked about different ways to appear smarter. One of the things that the author talks about is taking a viewpoint contrary to the majority. This is a really neat idea. It forces you to use your analytical abilities to make valid arguements that you probably wouldn’t have thought about before. It’s always a good idea to develop your debate and problem-solving skills, and thinking critically is a big part of both of those things. The author also mentions that being the last person to speak about something gives you a chance to polish your own opinions.
