The band that just could not compromise and get along

I used to play in a local band and we used a social networking site to promote our music. Now as the years went on members of the band came and went. The time came that the person in charge of the website parted ways. We all knew the password and continued to use the website for a couple months and there were no issues. When it came time for the band to completely go its separate ways members of the band started to change aol password so that others couldn’t use it. Once the password had been changed so many times the website locked us all out because it thought someone was hacking the account for the website and the only way to retrieve it was to have the original email account and send an email. Well we hadn’t bothered to change the email and the previous owner of the email had moved on with his life. To get the password for the band website we had to somehow find the password to the email address. Now we had two password problems. It ended up never getting resolved and now the old band website sits. Instead of a simple fix this issue caused us to start completely from scratch
