The gift baskets I received
I was so happy that I was able to start teaching at a private school here in Buena Park three years ago. I had been teaching the third and fourth grade in a public school in the Los Angeles unified school District for many years. The problem with that is I live in southern Orange County and I didn’t want to drive up that area any longer. When I got the new job with the private school I was elated. The very first night when I got home from that job I was surprised that there were three gift baskets that had been delivered to me in celebration of my lateral promotion.
