My husband is in the military and we move around quite a bit. I try to choose neighborhoods that are good for my children. One way that I have found is to do a background check and a free arrest records search on my neighbors. This is an excellent way to feel comfortable with my children being around new people. I don’t tell many people that I search their names online. I don’t think they would understand. My husband agrees that it is something we should keep to ourselves. We want to feel good about where we live and who we let our children play with.
