Seeking Dental Insurance
I’ve never had a good dental insurance policy through any of my jobs. Most of them merely pay for a cleaning or two a year and then really skimp on helping out if you have a dental emergency. Paying thirty percent for a five thousand dollar oral surgery? Yeah, thanks a lot. And unfortunately for me, I have a long history of bad teeth and painful procedures. Heck, I had a tooth just fall out of my mouth on its own last month. Is that normal? I doubt it is, but without effective insurance I won’t get any help. That’s why I sat down and looked up individual dental insurance on the Internet last week. I was looking for a policy that pays a bit more for serious procedures, and my search soon located the right plan for me. I feel a lot better about going to the dentist now. This time I’m hoping the pain is only in my mouth and not in my pocketbook.
