What is it about chrome and bathrooms?
It seems over the last few decades chrome plating has taken over our bathrooms. Chrome plated faucets, shower arms, over toilet shelves, glass shelves trimmed with shiny chrome; you name it, chrome is on it. So, I felt a bit like I was following the crowd when I bought a new chrome towel rack. I suppose I was, because this is a case where the crowd is right. Chrome accessories in the bathroom do always seem to look right. When I visited a friend’s home and say all their dark wood shelves and cabinets, I thought it looked awfully dull. It was nice to get home to my chrome!
