Surgery Story II
At home, I couldn’t urinate. Got to be 9 pm at night and we had to go to the ER to be catheterized. I was in so much pain. I had 1000 ccs of urine in my bladder. A normal full bladder is 400 ccs. They left the catheter in for 48 hours. I put all of this info into my fireproof file cabinets so I remember for the future. I have two drainage tubes coming out of my abdomen draining into little bulbs to measure how much drainage I’m still having. Hopefully they’ll be coming out in 4 days. So far this is way worse than I imagined.
