A Change in Company Policy
The head honchos at my company have decided that employees will no longer be allowed to drive company vehicles home. We will each have to bring our own vehicle to work and pick up the company car from there. Due to this policy change, the company is installing a fenced area with a viking gate operators to lock the vehicles in at night. To me, this seems like a huge waste of money as each employee could be responsible for their own vehicle and, in the event of theft or vandalism, less could be taken or damaged if all vehicles aren’t parked together. I would love to know what made them decide to change the policy.
