systems admin
I am currently a system admin for our servers and I am considering moving my career pretty sharepoint oriented. Here’s the thing I would like to gain more experience in the software world rather than the world of just hardware. We currently have Sharepoint Consulting going on in our IT department, so I think the best job security would be to keep the systems admin job. But my heart is in software rather than hardware. That’s what I’m grappling with currently. We will see what I choose to do. I have been with the company for 5 years, but I have been the IT world for another 10 years before that working at various companies in the bay area.
