How to get to Montezuma Costa Rica?

If you are planning for a honeymoon in Montezuma Costa Rica, please note that there are a couple of ways of getting there. Obviously you will have to land in San Jose (the capital city) first if you are on an international flight. From San Jose you have the options of either flying or driving to Montezuma. However since there is no airport or landing strip in Montezuma, you have to fly to Tambor which is the nearest town from Montezuma. From Tambor you can either rent a car or take a bus to Montezuma. There are about 7 to 8 flights departing daily from San Jose to Tambor and it usually cost around USD160 for a return flight. Alternatively you can take a leisurely drive from San Jose to Puntarenas. From there you need to take a ferry to Paquera. There are 2 ferry terminals at Puntarenas but you would need to take the Naviera Tambor ferries at the northwest end of the town as those are the only ones that can carry vehicles. The old terminal which is located behind the market only has small ferries that carry and bicycles. Once you reach Paquera, you can continue your drive towards Tambor and subsequently your final destination. The whole trip takes about 4 hours but you get to enjoy the lush and tropical scenery along the way.

Cheap Holidays to Turkey? Yes Please

After budget cuts resulting in me getting no annual pay rise this year, I thought I’d have to scrap my holiday plans. It just didn’t seem like a good idea to go blow a wad of cash on something extravagant. Thankfully I’ve found some great deals on cheap holidays to Turkey. I probably won’t be staying in any magnificent five star hotels, but I can make do with a decent three star as long as there is a swimming pool! Being such a popular holiday destination, there are loads of choices for Turkey hotels. I guess the decision isn’t whether to go or not to go, it’s where should I stay.

Boulder and Tourist Maps

Boulder, Colorado is such a beautiful city! Last year I was in my living room planning my vacation, and all of a sudden I remembered a lovely story my parents had told me about this city. Out of the blue, I decided to get one of the many tourist maps available for Boulder and be on my way. I have to honestly say that, without my map, I would have been a little bit disoriented. Thankfully, I was fully prepared to enjoy this amazing city. It is always good to take a map with you when you visit a new city.

Lunch at the harbour

One cannot travel to Cape Town and not have a bite to eat at the local fish harbor. When hiring a vehicle from car rentals, you will be able to sample the catch of the day, and be reminded of the benefits of living close to the ocean, and how you are subjected to eating frozen fish back in Gauteng. It is such simple things like these, that one gets to experience and realize the joys that life has to offer. I often travel to Cape Town, and it has become a tradition to have lunch at the harbor. I find a quiet table, make sure that my regular condiments accompany my meal, and I feast of whatever the catch of the day is.

Irish Spa Charm

For people looking for a way to escape the daily hustle and bustle of life, Ireland vacation packages can prove to be very relaxing. This European country is filled with rich views of the countryside and a generally relaxed lifestyle. There is no place more perfect in Ireland than a relaxing day at the spa. Despite the somewhat rural appearance of things they offer a number of spa services that are up to date. Take the chance to look at scenic views with their destination spas that are located in unique and peaceful locations. If you would rather stay somewhere near town then you will find that hotels have great spas as well. Of course for those who still want to do some activities a resort spa will be perfect. However you want to relax Ireland has something that will be perfect for you.

Risky business

We are heading away to the great lake next weekend so I thought it might be nice to take a slight detour and visit another city. Without consulting my girlfriend, which is always risky, I went ahead and booked some rotorua accommodation just for one night so that we could go out there for an evening. We will still be heading over to the lake the next day as we have an awesome day planned. Some friends of ours are meeting us there and we are all heading out on their boat for the day and going to a few bays for picnics and some fishing.

Going to the Beach

When we first started talking about renewing our vows, my husband and I decided that we wanted to do something a little bit different. We looked at beach wedding ideas. Our wedding was very big and formal, so we want to do something a bit more private and way smaller this time around. I’ve always loved the beach, I think it’s the perfect setting for a wedding. After we renew our vows we’re going to have a small reception at a local restaurant, and then we’re going to have a second honeymoon. We will have been married 25 years soon, and we want to celebrate.
