The social networking sites Facebook and Twitter seem silly to most first time users. The fact is, however, that twitter is absolutely addictive. Twitter is addictive because rather than being a simple blogging site, twitter is a quick and addictive method of putting down one’s actions, feelings and thoughts without significant effort. The lack of effort required and the fun social aspect of back and forth replying is why it happens to capture the attention of so many users. It is simple, to the point and does not have any frills. Although silly, they are in fact very addictive to teens.
