Over our heads in credit card debt
In February 2008, my husband and I were at the end of our rope and in over our heads in credit card debt. We were broke and waiting for our tax return to come in so we could catch up on some bills. This was a yearly cycle for us, one that I wanted to break. I was on the verge of putting my two year old daughter and four-year-old son in daycare so I could return to the workforce, which upset me greatly. Then my brother told me about debt relief companies. My husband and I researched this option and decided it was worth looking into. We enrolled in credit card debt settlement and if we stick to our new budget plan we should be debt free in two years and I can remain home with my children until they enter school.
