My Analysis On “Naomi Schaefer Riley: Academia’s Crisis of Irrelevance”

It is indeed true that education is NOT about getting this job or that job – it IS about dog training advice the mind – if English, the graduate should have read A, B and C and be able to write about A, B and C – i.e. be ABLE TO WRITE AND EVALUATE … If Chemistry, the graduate should have a minimal skill set in say organic, inorganic, quantitative etc – and so on and so forth – Where Universities have lost their way is that education is NOT about training the mind – and developing in students a love for the area through intellectual exchange and so on – but about getting as many students in/out and keeping the money flowing – and ofcourse political correctness in many cases …
