The firsts Carports.
Did you know that the first carport was built in 1909? Or that the term carport was first used in 1936? Did you know that it was legendary architect Frank Lloyd Wright that came up with term carport? There is quite a bit of history behind each carport that is built. Along with this history has come many developments in carport technology. You can now get a carport made of wood, metal or high grade polymers. And no longer are they fixed and immovable. You can get a carport that is not only portable but so easy to setup that it only takes one person to accomplish. It really is amazing to see how far Carports have come.
