A good wedding photojournalist
There’s no trick to becoming an outstanding wedding photojournalist in Chicago. For starters though, you should have a good eye for photography, some basic skills and knowledge of digital photography. A good photojournalist can act as a “fly on the” wall and watch the moments unfold. You should not stage or set up photographs unless you are shooting a portrait. Use available light to make the moment appear as close as possible to the events as they were. Try to tell the story with photographs that won’t need any explanation. Remember the old cliche, one photo is worth a thousand word.
