The Hardest Part of Learning Guitar on your Own
As a graduate of self study on the guitar I believe I can point out a couple of the cons when you learn to play guitar on your own. First off, one thing everyone must do if they’re learning at home is find a jam buddy or two. Without someone to get together with to play guitar and jam with you can get bored. That is exactly what one of the cons is, you can get bored or fall behind when learning at home. It’s too easy to forget about your lesson or say you’ll practice another day. Sticking to a regimen is the hardest part. The second hardest part is getting feedback when you need it. While videos provide great demonstrations it’s not always easy to know for sure if you’re doing things the right way.
